Mindful Mama Workshop

Pregnancy and motherhood is a very challenging time and moms can feel overwhelmed, lost and alone.

Lead by Miranda Layton, LCSW-C, LISW-CP and Nora McEachen, RYT-200, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, this six-hour course for pregnant and postpartum women will combine mindfulness, meditation, yoga, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises.

During each session of this progressive workshop, moms will learn practical tools to help:

  • Reduce stress and improve coping skills
  • Reduce negative affect and mood disturbances
  • Improve emotional regulation
  • Enhance healthy bonding with baby
  • Enhance parenting and relationship capacities and skills
  • Encourage self-care through healthy nutrition, utilization of prenatal care and an active pre- and postpartum lifestyle

PLEASE NOTE:
The course fee is non-refundable. No makeup dates will be available.
Please bring a yoga mat and yoga props or a blanket and small towel, and water, notebook and pen to each session.
A signed waiver will be required for each attendant prior to the start of the workshop.
